Adult Extraction Roguelite Dead Extraction Gets Steam Demo
Developer bleachmama announced on X that Dead Extraction, an adult 2D top-down extraction survival roguelite, is in development for Steam, and a demo is now available there.
Reporting from 1 source: Game Spark.
Why it matters
The Steam demo listing carries a content description for violence and crime but none for sexual content, while the DLsite and BOOTH releases are the adult versions, which suggests the Steam build may be the version with sexual content removed.
Players survive to an extraction point and carry back weapons and supplies, losing everything on death, then expand a base and manage survivors with set relationships. The game is currently available in Japan for PC via DLsite and BOOTH.
The Steam demo sits alongside a Japanese PC release already on sale through DLsite and BOOTH under adult content warnings. The Steam listing's content description cites violence and crime and says nothing about sexual content, a gap Game Spark reads as the possibility that the Steam version has sexual content removed. Gameplay is built on loss: die to an enemy and you lose everything you carried, with gear quality and dodging deciding fights such as giant boss encounters or an armored vehicle.
