Why it matters
The mascot tie-in is the first installment of the mascot collaborations Moon Rabbit announced when Chaos★Smash launched on October 29, so this is the game's content calendar starting to arrive rather than a one-off.
Key Facts
- Moon Rabbit announced the Chaos★Smash collaboration with Zushihocky on November 5.
- The Zushihocky collaboration event starts November 12.
- Zushihocky appears as a Link Character who supports battles.
- Players who log in during the event receive a collab-exclusive hat avatar.
- Chaos★Smash is a free-to-play browser game whose official service began on October 29.
Zushihocky joins battles as a Link Character, and every player who logs in during the event gets a collab hat avatar. A trust event and a sugoroku event are also planned.
Chaos★Smash launched on October 29 as a browser game with terrain that blows away where shells land, and Moon Rabbit is already putting a second character in front of players. Zushihocky, an official mascot built on Hokuto City's hokkigai surf clam, joins as a Link Character on November 12. The character design is played for the joke: the source describes a body of rice and clam that walks on four legs and cries "Hokihokihokihoki!"
The roadmap released November 4 puts a trust event alongside the login reward. Dedicated items drop in Solo Mode and Arena, and giving them to Zushihocky raises trust that pays out in-game items. Details of the sugoroku event are still unannounced.
