Why it matters
The sale puts two foundational indie games at a steep discount, making them easy to pick up for new players while the bundle offers extra value.
FTL is priced at 343 yen, Into the Breach at 532 yen, and a bundle containing both games costs 788 yen.
The bundle adds a further 10% off the sale price, bringing the total for both games to 788 yen. FTL, released in 2012, tasks players with commanding a fleeing battleship through a random galaxy, juggling crew, power, and weapons. Into the Breach, from 2018, is a turn-based tactics game where players pilot mechs against giant subterranean creatures, with enemy moves telegraphed in advance. Both games are considered classics in their genres and remain active on the Steam storefront.
