Why it matters
KRAFTON is using a K-pop act's music video as map content and pairing that with harder PvE modes, so the patch is aimed at both the cosmetic crowd and players who want the co-op modes to bite.
Key Facts
- KRAFTON implemented the 44.1 update for PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS and began distributing IVE collaboration content.
- The IVE collaboration starts November 4 for the PC version and November 12 for the console version.
- Three IVE Spot areas inspired by the "LOVE DIVE" music video were added to the Rondo map.
- SLB: DAWNBREAKERS OF RONDO returns as the high-difficulty HLB: DAWNBREAKERS OF RONDO, running November 4 to November 25 on PC.
- Xeno Point returns as Xeno Point: Hell with a single difficulty and a fourth sector, playable by one to four players.
The IVE content started November 4 for PC and November 12 for consoles, adding three IVE Spot areas to the Rondo map, character models for the six members, costumes, weapon and equipment skins, and emotes built on the song "LOVE DIVE." The update also re-releases two PvE modes at higher difficulty and improves PUBG Fantasy ahead of PGC 2026.
The collaboration items include a Cupid Crossbow and Cupid Chicken Man on the starting islands, and IVE emote stages go onto the starting islands of Rondo, Erangel, Miramar, Taego, Deston, and Vikendi. Using an IVE emote on a stage plays the collaboration music video on PC and shows album art on console.
Alongside the cosmetics, SLB: DAWNBREAKERS OF RONDO returns as the harder HLB: DAWNBREAKERS OF RONDO in Jadena City, with Special Hunger appearing more often and a shorter-lived capacitor to defend. The PvE roguelite mode Xeno Point becomes Xeno Point: Hell with one difficulty level and a fourth sector, playable by one to four players.
