The announcement came on Wednesday through the manga's own channels, and the return window is loose: February or March next year, no fixed date. Otsuji stays on the title during the pause, drawing special illustrations for the Tonari no Young Jump and Young Jump+ pages. The manga runs on both Shueisha services, where Matsuura and Otsuji launched it in November 2023. Shueisha published the fifth compiled volume on March 18 and has the sixth set for November 18, so the print schedule is unaffected by the serialization break. The series follows two high school gyaru, Mirai Misato and "Heeko" Taira, who carry powers of future sight and travel between parallel universes while living ordinary school lives.
