SUPER EIGHT returns to THE FIRST TAKE for a second appearance, this time performing "Omoidama," a song released in 2014. The track was created as the theme song for Nekketsu Koshien and served as the 2014 ABC Summer High School Baseball Support Song. Its lyrics were assembled from roughly 6,000 phrases submitted by high school students nationwide under the theme "Now, let's deliver your feelings (words, emotions) to those who strive toward their dreams and to those who support them."
The group previously appeared on the channel with "Muserkiseki Hero" alongside the rock band THE Inazuma Sentai. Now in their 22nd year since debut, the five-member group from the Kansai region continues to perform in a band style alongside their idol work. The new take features a delicate and emotional special arrangement of the anthem.
