Dennou Shoujo Shiro is booked for the first of two shows at *ASTERISK in Virtual Sanrio Puroland on Saturday, December 12, 2026, and held a 9th anniversary stream on June 28, 2026 with Kizuna AI, Tokino Sora, Hakui Koyori and Fuji Aoi.
Dennou Shoujo Shiro's two appearances in the coverage sit four months apart and point in different directions. The June 28 stream, titled "Legend Emergency Summon! Future Summit," put Shiro alongside Kizuna AI, Hololive's Tokino Sora and Hakui Koyori, and independent VTuber Fuji Aoi to discuss the future of VTubing as the scene approaches its 10-year milestone. Shiro hosted that stream.
The October story moves Shiro onto a corporate virtual stage. Up Land, the operator of VTuber agencies including .LIVE, will hold "*ASTERISK in Virtual Sanrio Puroland" on Saturday, December 12, 2026, six years after the original *ASTERISK online live in 2020. Shiro is in the first of two shows, with Carlo Pino, Tooboe Kyan, Zakuro Shiro and Yoshika. The second show has Kagura Suzu, Mokota Mememe, Gurenbatsu Maru, Kagura Nana and Jinsei Tsumiko. Ten VTubers are split across the two shows, drawn from .LIVE and Vpi plus four VTubers outside Up Land.
The venue is Virtual Sanrio Puroland, the permanent virtual theme park Sanrio runs on VRChat. Sanrio and its subsidiary Gugenka, the XR company, are cooperating on the production. Part of the park will be rearranged with an *ASTERISK theme and an original stage built for the day will be installed. Some performances will use outfits from wearverse, Up Land's metaverse apparel brand. Tickets for viewing inside VRChat and separate online streaming tickets are planned, with prices and sales dates to be announced on the official X account and the special website.
What the stories establish is a performer working both the anniversary-conversation circuit and a corporate VR venue event. What they do not give is any statement from Shiro about either booking, or any detail on the setlist, the outfit assignment, or the anniversary stream's outcome.
