Concode released a new trailer for Graytail on October 21, 2026, and set the mystery action adventure for late 2027. The game follows a detective with severe headaches who, ten years after a famous female pilot vanished over the Pacific Ocean, takes up the search alongside the pilot's daughter, who arrives at his office looking for her mother. Players ride a motorcycle across five areas and combine weapons with surrounding objects to solve puzzles. Combat switches between a staff and sub-weapons including an umbrella and a Frisbee. Concode also confirmed funding from Outersloth, the indie fund run by Innersloth, the Among Us developer. Casey Yano of Mega Crit Games, the Slay the Spire studio, joined the investment. Concode will use the money to improve combat and raise the density of the story and areas. The current Steam demo ends distribution in November, and a new demo with the revised combat will follow.

Innersloth announced at The Triple-i Initiative October 2026 showcase that Among Us Story: On Guard will be released on February 17, 2027. The single-player detective adventure is set in the Among Us universe but is independent of the multiplayer social deduction game and can be played on its own. Players take the role of an Operator in MIRA Research and Development's new Crewmate training program, operating inside a simulation as a security officer called a Guard. A murder occurs during the program, and the Guard becomes the suspect, so the player must prove their innocence and identify the Impostor. The game will support Japanese and launch on PC via Steam, mobile, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. The story branches into three endings, and players gather clues by interacting with crewmates including the Cook, Scientist, Doctor, and Captain.

The official Among Us X account announced on September 23 that a new role will be added within the next week. The teaser names nothing, only that the role's name is a 10-letter word starting with "I." Whether the role belongs to the Crew or the Impostor faction is not announced. Players have guessed names such as "influencer" and "instigator." A Crew-side role called Judge was added on August 19.

Innersloth released update v18.0.0 for Among Us on August 19, adding a new Crewmate role called Judge. The Judge can use an ability named Overrule, which forces the ejection of any specified player regardless of the meeting's vote result or skip. This ability is limited to one use per match and becomes available after completing a set number of tasks. If the ejected player is not an Impostor, the Judge is ejected instead as a penalty. When multiple Judges activate Overrule at the same time, only the fastest activation applies, and the other Judges retain their ability for a later meeting. The update also introduced a match info guide that lets players check the player list, role composition, and settings during a match. The Detective role received a balance adjustment, adding a cooldown immediately after emergency meetings. Among Us is a multiplayer social deduction game set on spaceships and planetary bases, where Crewmates complete tasks while identifying and ejecting hidden Impostors. The update follows previous role additions such as Engineer, Angel, Shapeshifter, and Viper, and Innersloth's late 2026 roadmap mentions two more roles planned.

Innersloth announced a new single-player narrative adventure game set in the Among Us universe, titled Among Us Story: On Guard, during the Summer Game Fest 2026 livestream on June 6. The game shifts from the franchise's signature multiplayer social deduction format to a solo experience where players take on the role of a crew member named Guard. The objective is to investigate a murder aboard a spaceship, solve puzzles, and identify the Impostor to prove the protagonist's innocence. The announcement trailer showed comedic scenes and deduction gameplay. The Steam store page went live immediately after the reveal, and Japanese language support is planned. A release date has not yet been announced. Separately, Innersloth also confirmed that an Among Us animated series is in development, to be distributed by Paramount+.
