New Oishinbo Names Yui Makino and Skoop On Somebody as Theme Singers
The TV anime New Oishinbo will air in 2027, with Yui Makino performing the opening theme "PROMISE ME" and Skoop On Somebody performing the ending theme "Akashi". The announcement comes 35 years after the previous Oishinbo TV anime finished airing. Both openings of that first anime were love songs: "YOU", sung by Megumi Yuki for episodes 1 to 23, and "Dang Dang Ki ni Naru", sung by Yuma Nakamura for episodes 24 to 136.
