Overflow's back catalogue is being reissued on PC, with a remastered Summer Days set for December 18 and reservations opening September 25. An English dub of the Overflow anime is also coming to OceanVeil, though without a release date.
Overflow's current activity is a piecemeal return of the franchise's back catalogue rather than a new entry. On September 13, Overflow announced that a remastered version of Summer Days will be released on December 18. The adult game first shipped for Windows in 2006 and is set in the summer before School Days, with Makoto Ito again as protagonist and Setsuna Kiyoura as the main heroine. Reservations open September 25. The teaser key visual also shows Inori Ashikaga.
The Summer Days remaster follows Overflow's School Days remaster and lands in the same December slot. That pattern is the throughline: two remasters, the same month, both on PC, with no new title announced between them.
Separately, the anime side is moving into English. OceanVeil announced it will stream English dubs for the anime Overflow and Love from Above. Cast and staff details for both dubs were revealed. Overflow's dub has no release date yet. Love from Above's dub debuts August 8 at 3:00 p.m. EDT.
Between the two stories, the franchise sits in re-release mode on two fronts at once: a PC remaster of an older adult game and an English dub of the anime adaptation. Neither is a new entry, and no new game or new anime has been announced.
