KB Securities Projects Double-Digit DRAM Price Rise In Early 2027
KB Securities analyst Kim Dong-won, in an October 20 report, said Samsung Electronics has locked in five-year supply contracts for about 70% of its general-purpose memory production for 2027, and full annual HBM output. Total contracted memory comes to roughly 80% of 2027 production. The report projects HBM average selling prices up 100 to 150% year on year in 2027 and DRAM prices up a double-digit percentage in the first quarter.
