Vell is the original character of illustrator Trida Mono, the designer whose credits include Atelier Ryza and a hololive member. The character is now the subject of a Good Smile Company figure in the G.S.Collection line, scaled at 1/7.
Pre-orders for the Vell figure opened on September 15, 2026, priced at 29,800 yen including tax. The window runs until October 28, and shipping is scheduled for November 2027. A 2L-size character fine mat using the original illustration is offered as a bonus through the Good Smile Company official shop.
The second story in this cluster is about Penguin Colony, a horror simulation announced on August 25, 2026 by Fellow Traveller and developed by ORIGAME DIGITAL. It launches on October 8, 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2, and a demo is on the Steam store page. The game reinterprets H.P. Lovecraft's At the Mountains of Madness from a penguin's viewpoint, with the player exploring Antarctica as a penguin while two factions fight over an ancient being. That story does not involve Vell or Trida Mono and is not part of the Vell picture.
