Why it matters
The Warriors novel series gets a full game adaptation with a firm release date and a launch across five platforms on October 24.
The action-adventure game, inspired by the Warriors novel series, lets players create their own warrior cat and explore the Lake Territory, hunting prey, fighting rival clans, and unraveling prophecies. It launches on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, and PC. The game does not currently support Japanese.
Players build their own warrior cat and roam the Lake Territory, which spans four clan lands: ThunderClan's deep forest, RiverClan's wetlands, ShadowClan's dark pine swamp, and WindClan's open moorland. Movement covers climbing trees, dashing through bushes, and tracking scents, with puzzles and item crafting in the den. Combat is turn-based, pitting the player against mice, squirrels, and badgers, with boss battles on top. Trailmark Games announced the date on September 2, and the game currently has no Japanese language support.
