ABAL built this Ultraman VR piece with Tsuburaya Productions and is now taking it from a Malaysian convention to a Gulf event with a local partner, which is how the company intends to sell Japanese XR entertainment abroad.

ABAL exhibited its VR service Light no Kuni Museum Ultraman XR Journey, made with Tsuburaya Productions, at COS-MIC 2026 in Kuala Lumpur from September 11 to 13. More than 500 people tried the experience across the three days. COS-MIC drew about 200 exhibitors and 15,000 attendees. ABAL next plans to show the content at Bahrain Comic Con in November 2026, co-hosted with SHIFT Arabia.
The Malaysia stop used ABAL's Scape platform, which lets several people walk the same virtual space at once. Visitors wore member's uniforms as avatars and toured the Land of Light, Ultraman's home, alongside monster exhibits and battle scenes. Because the experience was free, some visitors went through it as many as six times in a day, according to ABAL.
The next stop is Bahrain Comic Con in November 2026, co-hosted with SHIFT Arabia. ABAL notes that the timing and venue for Bahrain may change depending on social conditions.
