Bandai's mofusand Gashapon Casts Cats as School Lunch Monitors
A themed capsule set with no anime or game tie-in shows where Bandai is placing mofusand: on nostalgic daily-life props that sell at the 400-yen gashapon price point.
Reporting from 1 source: Inside.
Bandai will release the gashapon line "mofusand Kyushoku Touban Ganbaru Nyan" in the third week of October. The mascots stand about 4.5cm and show cats on school lunch duty in five designs: Rice Paddle, Pot, Ladle, Tray, and Milk. Each play costs 400 yen including tax. The designs are original to the gashapon line.
The five designs put the cats on the equipment of a Japanese school lunch rotation: the rice paddle, the pot, the ladle, the tray, and the milk bottle. Each figure is about 4.5cm, small enough to line up on a shelf as a set.
Play costs 400 yen including tax. Bandai has not given a fixed date beyond the third week of October, and the designs do not come from any existing manga or anime. Details sit on the product page.
