Clear River Games to Release Lufia 1 and 2 Collection in 2027

Clear River Games announced on Sunday that it is releasing Lufia 1 and 2 The Sinistrals Saga, a collection of the SNES games Lufia & the Fortress of Doom and Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals, on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam in 2027. A trailer was streamed alongside the announcement.

The collection pairs Lufia & the Fortress of Doom, which debuted on Super Nintendo in 1993 as Estpolis Denki in Japan, with its 1995 Super Famicom prequel Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals, released on SNES in 1996. The prequel already received a Nintendo DS remake, Lufia: Curse of the Sinistrals, which shipped in 2010. Clear River Games is also releasing Quintet's 1995 SNES RPG Terranigma on Switch 2, Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and GOG on January 14, with new quality-of-life features.

  • games Nex Playground Heads to Japan in 2027 with Sega and Bandai Namco Titles

  • games ARC Raiders Frozen Trail Update Adds Pendra Pass Map And Grappling Hook On October 8

The update also introduces a Reward Pass, and all existing Raider Decks are folded into a free Legacy Pass, which makes progression the part of Frozen Trail that touches every current player rather than only those who reach the new endgame map.

  • games Ace Attorney 5 VR Heads To Meta Quest In 2027

The adaptation hands the Meta Quest a full-length, 15-plus-hour premium adventure rather than the short VR experiences the platform has usually hosted, and it does so under a license deal rather than an in-house Capcom build.

The Yeti 2 moves noise removal and voice tracking onto the microphone hardware, so budget USB buyers get processing that previously required software or a separate interface.
