Crunchyroll Starts English Dub for The Apothecary Diaries Season 3

Crunchyroll announced on Thursday that its English dub for The Apothecary Diaries' third season begins streaming on Friday. Emi Lo voices Maomao and Kaiji Tang voices Jinshi, with Shawn Gann directing and Crunchyroll Studio producing. The season premiered October 2 on NTV's Friday Anime Night block; its second cours arrives in April 2027. A film, The Apothecary Diaries: The Deceased Empress' Treasure, opens December 11.
The dub arrives in the same week as the subtitled simulcast rather than months later. Crunchyroll Studio handles production, with Justin Cook, Michael Harcourt and Nathanael Harrison as producers and Susie Nixon producing. Macy Anne Johnson supervises adaptation, with scripts by Clayton Browning and Benjamin Tehrani on adaptation prep. Shawn Gann directs the voice cast, assisted by Kevin D. Thelwell, with Tara A. Williams and Brittni Hurley on talent coordination. The third season opened on October 2 at 11:00 p.m. in NTV's Friday Anime Night block across 29 affiliated channels, with yorushika on the opening theme and Eve on the ending theme. The second cours follows in April 2027.
