CD PROJEKT RED and studio TRIGGER began streaming Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 on Netflix on October 20 at 16:00 Japan time. The 10-episode series is set in Night City and follows four new characters rather than the previous cast: Wick, a veteran edgerunner once called the King; D, a Nomad bent on revenge for his destroyed clan; Roman, a boy who films what he sees; and Talia, a girl drawn to gang culture and chrome. Kai Ikarashi directs.
The four leads are voiced by Kentaro Tone, Koki Uchiyama, Momoka Terasawa and Akari Kito. Kai Ikarashi, whose credits include SSSS.GRIDMAN, directs, with Kazuki Sugano as lead character designer. Masahiko Otsuka and Bartosz Sztybor wrote the script, continuing from the previous series.
TRIGGER also handled the films Promare and Gridman Universe. The new series runs 10 episodes in Night City, the setting of CD PROJEKT RED's Cyberpunk 2077.
