ELECEED Anime Sets April 2027 Broadcast as KADOKAWA Ships First Two Volumes
The production is launching with the manga's Japanese edition already dated, so the anime and the published volumes arrive in the same window rather than the anime trailing the source by a season.
Reporting from 1 source: Real Sound Anime.
The TV anime of ELECEED will broadcast in April 2027, with Junya Enoki voicing Woo-ah Ji. Hiroshi Nishikiori directs at Dandelion Animation Studio, with Yosuke Kuroda on scripts and Minami Sakura on character design. Tasuku Hatanaka, Setsuji Sato, Hayato Dojima, and Shizuka Ito round out the announced cast. KADOKAWA releases Japanese editions of Volumes 1 and 2 on October 23, with a trading card bonus at the official store.
The lead role goes to Junya Enoki, whose credits include Yuji Itadori in Jujutsu Kaisen. Kayden, the strongest Awakened who lives with Woo-ah as a talking cat, has no announced voice actor yet. The cast list also names Shizuka Ito as Cheon-young Yoo, the young representative of the organization Shinhwa.
KADOKAWA's October 23 release of Volumes 1 and 2 precedes the broadcast by more than a year. The official online store adds a trading card as a first-come bonus, and goods already sold on the ELECEED store are set for a sale tied to the anime announcement.
