Ghost in the Shell SAC Tachikoma Model Returns With Motoko and Batou Figures

Kotobukiya is re-releasing its 1/35 scale plastic model of the Tachikoma from Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. The kit includes unpainted figures of Motoko Kusanagi in a riding position, Batou, and Miki, the girl the Tachikoma met. It is scheduled for release in April 2027.

The Kotobukiya plastic model of the Tachikoma from Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex is returning. The kit is sculpted at 1/35 scale, matching the Kenbishi Heavy Industries HAW206 prototype vehicle version, and reproduces the machine's comical yet mechanically realistic design.

The model includes a detailed cockpit interior with rear and upper hatches that open without replacement parts. Optional parts cover a 12.7mm gatling gun, natural oil, and 50mm grenade launcher shells, and the scene of injecting natural oil can be recreated by swapping parts. The grenade launcher's barrel cover can be removed to load shell parts.

Unpainted figures of Motoko Kusanagi in a riding position, Batou, and Miki, the girl the Tachikoma met, are included. Miki can be displayed on top of the Tachikoma's head. The kit is priced at 4,950 yen and ships in April 2027.
