Glee Reboot Officially Set for Disney+ and Hulu
The script is done and roughly 10 original cast members have already answered favorably, so the open question is no longer whether Glee returns but how much of the original ensemble the Disney+ and Hulu run will carry.

A teaser poster on the show's official US X account confirmed a Glee reboot is in production for Disney+ and Hulu, posted on the 20th. The original ran from 2009 over six seasons at McKinley High School in Ohio. Creator Ryan Murphy told Entertainment Tonight last month that the script is finished, that no casting has been announced, and that about 10 original cast members responded positively to his outreach.
The announcement arrived as a poster image, not a cast list. The show's official US X account posted it on the 20th with the line "Official Announcement: 'Glee' is coming back."
Ryan Murphy's comments to Entertainment Tonight last month set the current state of play: the script is complete, contact has been made with about 10 of the original cast, and all of them were positive. No casting has been confirmed. The original series began in 2009 and ran six seasons at McKinley High School in a rural Ohio town.
