HiYa Toys Opens Pre-Orders for Mega Man.EXE Action Figure at AmiAmi
A licensed Mega Man Battle Network figure at this size and price with lit weapons and magnetic feet is aimed at collectors who pose rather than display, and AmiAmi is already warning that manufacturer supply may not cover demand.
Reporting from 1 source: Dengeki Hobby Web.
HiYa Toys is taking pre-orders through AmiAmi and AmiAmi Yahoo! Store for a Mega Man.EXE action figure from Mega Man Battle Network, part of its EXQUISITE BASIC series. The figure stands about 12.5 cm and includes three weapons with independent magnetic light-up gimmicks, three face parts, six hands, a Rock Buster, Cannon, Sword, two shooting effects, a magnetic logo and a display stand. It is listed at 9,400 yen and scheduled for December 2027.
The figure ships with magnets in the soles as well as in the weapons, so it can be fixed to metal surfaces and held in shooting, slashing or aerial poses on the included stand. HiYa Toys lists the paint work on the helmet, chest, arms and legs as the selling point, with the blue and black body and yellow armor reproduced from the game design.
Reference price is 10,450 yen including tax. AmiAmi's price is 9,400 yen including tax. The listing describes the item as a pre-order because the manufacturer's production quantity is low and the requested quantity is unlikely to be met. Images shown are of a prototype and may differ from the finished product. The release is scheduled for December 2027.
