Kadokawa Releases Six More Arbalest Images Ahead Of February 2027 Launch

The kit's selling point is tactical completeness: Kadokawa says it is the first plastic model of the unit able to reproduce all three of its Normal, ECS Activated, and Lambda Driver Activated states, which is what the image set is being used to demonstrate ahead of the October preorder close.

Kadokawa Releases Six More Arbalest Images Ahead Of February 2027 Launch

Kadokawa has released six additional images of its 1/48 scale ARX-7 Arbalest plastic model from Full Metal Panic!, bringing the total to seven. The new images show the Lambda Driver activated state holding the Boxer 57mm scatter gun in the right hand and the Monomolecular Cutter in the left, plus a kneeling parking pose. Preorders run on Kadokawa Store until October 21, 2026, with release set for February 2027.

The six new images concentrate on the Arbalest with its Lambda Driver activated, weapons drawn in both hands, alongside a kneeling parking pose taken from the series. Kadokawa lists the model at 177mm tall, supervised by mechanical designer Kanetake Ebikawa and built with molding color separation and pre-painted parts so the unit's coloring comes out of the box assembly.

A Special Set is also listed at 14,300 yen with wire gun firing recreation parts, a silver-plated Monomolecular Cutter blade tip, a black-plated Lambda Driver heat dissipation fin set, an Ebikawa-designed base, and a limited package. Both versions are scheduled for February 2027.
