Kocchi no Kento and SO-SO to Release "Kotonoha" on October 30
The track moves Kocchi no Kento's ties to "Nikagame" from guest appearances into a theme song credit, and pairs him again with the producer behind the "Hai Yorokonde" remix.

Kocchi no Kento will digitally release "Kotonoha feat. SO-SO" on Friday, October 30. The song is the theme for the TV Asahi variety show "Nikagame." Kocchi no Kento wrote the lyrics, both artists composed it, and SO-SO arranged it. Pizza Kozo, known for cartoon-style animation, produces the music video.
SO-SO handles composition and arrangement, and Kocchi no Kento has pointed to the track SO-SO built almost entirely with his voice as the song's appeal. The lyrics lean on wordplay across Japanese and English and on onomatopoeia, with phrases about not having enough words and wanting to understand someone. Kocchi no Kento has said he wrote it around wanting to be understood as himself rather than as a category. The song is used as the theme for the October 14 late-night broadcast, following the October 7 episode in which he and Takashi Nikaido played a word game and revealed the finished song.
