Lenovo's 15.3-inch IdeaPad Slim 3 (model 83RR00C0JP) is on Amazon Time Sale at 119,800 yen, down from a list price of 164,800 yen, a 27 percent cut. The listing appeared on September 25. The machine runs an Intel Core 7 350 processor with six cores, a 1.50GHz base clock and a 4.80GHz maximum turbo boost, paired with 16GB of DDR5-5600 SDRAM and a 512GB SSD. The display is a 15.3-inch WUXGA IPS panel at 1920x1200 dots in a 16:10 aspect ratio, non-glare, with support for roughly 16.77 million colors. Input and output covers one USB Type-C port with USB PD and DisplayPort Alt Mode, two USB Type-A ports, one HDMI, an SD card reader, and a fingerprint sensor. The keyboard is a JIS layout with 84 keys and a numeric keypad. The bundle includes Microsoft 365 Personal on a 24-month license. Amazon.co.jp lists the model as an exclusive configuration.
The two-year Microsoft 365 Personal license is the part of the bundle that does not depreciate with the hardware. It covers the current Office apps, so Word and Excel are usable on the machine the day it arrives, and the listing frames that as the reason the configuration suits work and study from purchase rather than after a setup period.
The rest of the package is built around the screen. The 15.3-inch panel is WUXGA at 1920x1200 dots in a 16:10 ratio, which leaves more vertical room than a 16:9 panel for spreadsheets and web pages. The Core 7 350 tops out at 4.80GHz turbo across six cores, with Intel Graphics handling display output and 16GB of DDR5-5600 memory backing multitasking. The 512GB SSD is NVMe. Ports include one USB Type-C with power delivery and DisplayPort Alt Mode, two USB Type-A, one HDMI, and an SD card reader, with a fingerprint sensor for sign-in. The JIS keyboard has 84 keys and a numeric keypad. The model number is 83RR00C0JP and the sale price is 119,800 yen against a stated previous price of 164,800 yen.
