The live-action series adaptation of Nagisa Furuya's boys love manga The Summer of You has announced its main cast and staff. Tomoya Oku and Kazuto Mokudai will star as the two leads. The series will stream on U-NEXT from June 24 and air on TV Tokyo from July 1.
Tomoya Oku, known for his role in Kamen Rider Revice, will play Wataru Toda, and Kazuto Mokudai, from Kamen Rider Geats, will play Chiharu Saeki. Kozue Sasaki and Takashi Haga are co-directing the series, with scripts by Yō Saitō and music by Erina Koyama.
