LOVELYZ's Ye-in Jeong Joins The Trauma Code for Seasons 2 and 3

Ye-in Jeong of K-pop group LOVELYZ will play nurse Jang-mi Cheon in the second and third seasons of The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call, replacing Ha-young, who left after controversy over allegations that her great-grandfather collaborated with Japanese colonial authorities. Ji-Hoon Ju, Young-woo Choo, Kyung-ho Yoon and Jae-kwang Jeong return, and director and screenwriter Do-yun lee is back. Both seasons are in production for Netflix with no premiere dates set.

The first season ran eight episodes when it debuted worldwide in January 2025 and topped Netflix's global non-English TV show rankings. Jeong steps in as Jang-mi Cheon, the nurse role Ha-young vacated. Do-yun lee, who directed season one, is directing and writing both new seasons. The series adapts Han Sani's web novel Trauma Center: Golden Hour; Han Sani is an ENT doctor, and the webtoon version is available in English on WEBTOON, where it ended with an epilogue chapter on August 9.
