Matsuken Anime Pop-Up Store Opens at Tokyo Anime Center on October 30
The store turns a YouTube short into a physical retail event with 19 goods items and a nationwide bookstore rollout planned after the Shibuya run, which tests whether the Matsuken character can carry merchandise outside the screen.

The Matsuken Anime pop-up store runs from October 30 to November 8, 2026, at Tokyo Anime Center in DNP PLAZA SHIBUYA, with free admission. The venue has introduction panels, setting artwork, a photo spot with Matsuken and Matsuinu standees, and a Settlement Offering Site where visitors write grudges on ema-style cards. Nineteen goods items are listed, including made-to-order smartphone cases and smart grip stands. TOHAN handles concept and goods planning, and events at bookstores and commercial facilities are planned after Tokyo.
The pop-up runs ten days at DNP PLAZA SHIBUYA, and the merchandise spans standard items and Japanese-style small goods. Beyond keychains and acrylic stands, the lineup includes sake cups, pochibukuro envelopes, bean pouches, and omamori-style acrylic keychains, priced from 550 yen for clear files to 5,500 yen for made-to-order smartphone cases. The Settlement Offering Site gives visitors ema-style cards to write down what they want settled. TOHAN, a production committee member, handled the store concept and goods planning, and the event is set to move to bookstores and commercial facilities nationwide after the Tokyo dates.
