Medicom Toy Adds Felix The Cat To Its Mini VCD Line In Red And Blue
Felix is a licensed character rather than an anime property, so the value here is in the format and the channel: two identical sculpts in different colors, limited to the two Medicom storefronts.
Reporting from 1 source: Dengeki Hobby Web.
Medicom Toy is adding Felix the Cat to its mini-size VCD (Vinyl Collectible Dolls) figure series. The finished figure stands about 17.5 cm, is priced at 8,800 yen each with tax included, and is scheduled for release in October 2026. It comes in two colors, red and blue, and both versions will be sold in limited quantities at the MEDICOM TOY NEXT and MEDICOM TOY WEST shops.
The figure is the licensed Felix the Cat, credited in the listing to DreamWorks Animation LLC, which puts an American cartoon character into a Japanese vinyl line that usually runs on anime and kaiju subjects. Medicom is selling the red and blue versions as a matched pair rather than a single release, both at the same height and price. The listing notes the product photos are samples under development and the finished figure may differ in part from what is pictured.
