Metaphor: ReFantazio Switch 2 Demo Arrives Ahead Of November 12 Release
A demo with carryover saves gives Switch 2 owners a way to start a game whose full version does not arrive until November 12, turning the release date into the end of a progress window rather than the start of one.

Atlus released a demo for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Metaphor: ReFantazio on October 13. The demo covers the game's early portion, and save data carries over to the full release, which is set for November 12 at 3,990 yen including tax. Pre-orders are open. The fantasy RPG follows a traveling boy and his fairy companion Gallica through the United Kingdom of Euchronia.
Atlus opened the demo on October 13, the same day the company's official account posted the download link. Save data moves to the full version, so early progress is not discarded when the Switch 2 release lands on November 12.
The game launched in October 2024 and is made by the creative team behind Persona 3, Persona 4, and Persona 5. It is set in the United Kingdom of Euchronia, where the player takes the role of a traveling boy who wanders with his fairy companion Gallica to lift a death curse placed on the prince. The full Switch 2 version costs 3,990 yen including tax and is available for pre-order.
