MSS Godzilla EX Adds 1962 Godzilla And Two Glow-In-The-Dark Sofubi
The 1962 suit, long a staple of Godzilla merchandise, now anchors an MSS Godzilla EX wave alongside two Terror of Mechagodzilla kaiju in glow-in-the-dark vinyl at the line's standard 13 cm scale.

CCP's MSS Godzilla EX line adds four painted soft vinyl figures: the 1962 Godzilla from King Kong vs. Godzilla in Standard and Dark Earth versions, plus Titanosaurus and Mechagodzilla (1975) from Terror of Mechagodzilla as Luminous Red and Luminous Green glow-in-the-dark releases. Reference prices run from 5,280 to 5,720 yen, and Rakuten Books is taking preorders.
The 1962 Godzilla gets a completely new sculpt for this wave, keeping the head, thick body and limbs, and skin texture of the Showa suit inside a deformed soft vinyl form. Two finishes are offered: a Standard version with the sandy-toned paint of the film, and a Dark Earth version with black molding, brown body, and metallic accents.
Titanosaurus and Mechagodzilla (1975) both use glow-in-the-dark soft vinyl that absorbs light and glows in the dark. Titanosaurus pairs it with fluorescent red and yellow accents; Mechagodzilla (1975) uses green. All four figures stand about 13 cm and are sold through Rakuten Books.
