Mujirushi Shimazaki, Rika Kamiyoshi Launch Reincarnation Revenge Manga

Writer Mujirushi Shimazaki and artist Rika Kamiyoshi have launched a new manga titled Yami Ochi Reijō wa Maō no Musume Alice ni Tenseishita no de Ōto de Anyaku suru Koto ni Shimashita. The series debuted on Square Enix's Gangan Online app on May 6 and centers on a noblewoman reincarnated as the Demon King's daughter seeking revenge.

The June issue of Square Enix's Monthly Shonen Gangan announced the new series on Tuesday. The manga launched early on the Gangan Online app on May 6. The story follows Rebecca, a noblewoman executed for a crime she did not commit, who reincarnates as Alice, daughter of the Demon King, and begins covert operations in the royal capital to take revenge on those who betrayed her.

Shimazaki previously wrote Monster Tamer Girls, published in English by Yen Press, and The Necromancer Maid, which Square Enix's Manga UP! Global service still carries. Kamiyoshi adapted the I'm a High Schooler, But I Became an Owner of a Castle in Another World novels, a series that lost its English release when Manga Planet shut down. The new title gives both creators a current, active platform for a long-form story.
