Nintendo Switch Sports Resort Preorders Sit About 1,000 Yen Below Official Price On Amazon
The discount matters because the Amazon listing undercuts Nintendo's own price on a first-party Switch 2 title before release day, which puts the packaged version in front of buyers who would otherwise pay full price.

Nintendo Switch Sports Resort is set for release on October 22, 2026. On Amazon.co.jp, the packaged version with no exclusive bonus is listed for preorder at 6,027 yen, against an official price of 6,980 yen, a gap of roughly 1,000 yen. The game is the motion-sports entry for Nintendo Switch 2, set on Wuhu Island, with 12 sports played through Joy-Con 2 and support for offline and online play.
The event lineup runs from boxing, tennis, and bowling to newer-feel additions like skateboarding and propeller plane, alongside archery, basketball, and marlin bike. Players move around the resort island itself rather than picking events from a flat menu, and customize characters through Sportsmates and Mii.
The listed price is 6,027 yen as of October 20, two days before the October 22 release. The official price is 6,980 yen. The Amazon listing carries no exclusive bonus, so the saving sits entirely in the price.
