Stratos Gaming announced on September 4 that Splat Pachinko, a pachinko-style roguelike from solo Italian developer Fabio Taurisano, will be playable at Tokyo Game Show 2026. The demo runs September 17 to 21 at the Italy Pavilion in Hall 5 of Makuhari Messe. The game targets release later this year on PC via Steam, and a demo is already available.
Fabio Taurisano runs Stupidi Pixel alone from Milan, handling game design, programming, pixel art, animation, and music himself. His previous Steam release was Death Noodle Delivery. In Splat Pachinko, the player is a giant-eyed alien chasing a kidnapped lover through turn-based battles, dropping eyeballs across a pachinko board that runs left to right rather than top to bottom. Points accumulated from hitting pins become attack power when an eyeball lands on the enemy planet at the right edge. Seven playable characters, over 100 eyeball types, and over 70 mutations create the synergy combos. Playing the demo earns an in-game limited item usable in both demo and full versions. The game targets release later this year on PC via Steam.
