Prime 1 Studio Opens A-SYMBOL Line With Katamari Damacy Prince And King Figures
The Prince's 1/1 scale and the magnet-swappable Katamari turn a 5cm character into a display piece built around the game's rolling mechanic, which is the specific reason this works as the opening entry in a new line.

Prime 1 Studio's new figure series A-SYMBOL starts with Katamari Damacy's Prince and King. The 1/1 scale Prince is 5cm tall and 15cm tall on its Katamari, which has magnets built into its protrusions so three included objects (eraser, film, soy sauce bottle) can be swapped in. A King figure over 50cm tall ships alongside. Preorders run October 22 to December 22, 2026, with release around November 2027 at 10,120 yen.
Prime 1 Studio is selling the Prince in two versions at the same 10,120 yen price, and the one difference is a head. The Bonus Edition adds a happy face with blushing cheeks, and in Japan that edition is handled by the Prime 1 Studio Online Store and Asovistore.
The standard Prince comes with two heads of its own, a smiling standard face and one blowing a whistle, plus a stand for displaying the character alone without the Katamari. The King is scaled at roughly ten times the Prince at over 50cm tall, and gets its own set of interchangeable parts.
