Ramen Simulator Player Builds a Ramen Shooting Range

The game's design lets players place equipment and seating freely, so a customer-served-by-projectile setup stays within its rules, and the developer's own surprise is the clearest measure of how far the toolset reaches.

Ramen Simulator Player Builds a Ramen Shooting Range

A player of the ramen shop management sim Japanese Ramen Simulator built a working shooting range inside the game by placing customer seats and cooking equipment outdoors and throwing fresh ramen at them at set distances. WildDog CEO Hiroto Nakajo, the game's developer, saw footage of a user throwing ramen at distant customers and posted that there was a shooting range even though he had not implemented one. The player said the idea came from the shooting range in Battlefield 6.

Hiroto Nakajo, WildDog's CEO and the developer of the game, saw footage of ramen being thrown at customers across a distance and asked where the shooting range had come from. He had not put one in.

The player who built it, Hirioto (Bomb Devil), said the layout borrows from the shooting range in Battlefield 6: seats and cooking gear go outdoors, and freshly made ramen is thrown at the seats at fixed distances. The same player is also trying to cook "bomb ramen" that blows up the shop.

Japanese Ramen Simulator is in early access on PC via Steam, priced at 1,900 yen, with a discount to 1,615 yen until October 24.
