Ravenswatch Adds Kintaro As A Playable Character On October 12
Kintaro is the folklore roster's turn toward Japan, and his shared-health bear mechanic is a different shape of co-op than the existing heroes offer.

Passtech Games announced on September 22 a character DLC named Kintaro for the roguelike action game Ravenswatch, set to release on October 12. Kintaro fights alongside a bear: he rides the bear for claw attacks and a roar that blocks incoming hits, dismounts to swing a giant axe while the bear assists on its own, and shares a health gauge with the animal.
Kintaro does not fight alone. He rides a bear, and while mounted he can land claw attacks and use a roar to block enemy hits. When he dismounts, he swings a giant axe himself and the bear keeps attacking automatically.
The pair share one health gauge. Damage the bear absorbs transfers to Kintaro as internal damage, and riding the bear again gradually heals those wounds. Ravenswatch is out on PC (Steam), Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One, and supports Japanese display.
