Kamina Anna, a virtual artist at the Re:AcT agency, released the EP Sōtaisei Insomnia digitally on September 13. The four-track EP holds two new songs and two covers, with Nakamura Ryōma handling mix and mastering, Mizushōshi on jacket illustration, and esu_kichi on jacket design. It is the fourth in a four-week run of releases ahead of Re:AcT LIVE "BRIGHT NOTES" on September 20 at GRIT Shibuya.
Sōtaisei Insomnia carries two new songs and two covers. Yonitani Reniya wrote, composed, and arranged the title track, and Inoutsuhasa handled "Tokeru Hikari." The covers are "Voyage" from Osanzi's original, sung by Kukuroi Kuu, and "Doubt" from Aoki Gou's original, sung by Shishigami Leona.
Anna said she sang both originals while thinking about the vague anxiety that comes at night. Yonitani Reniya described the title track as a picture of modern sleeplessness drawn through rain, moonlight, and the warmth of a canned coffee.
