Sega Opens Nationwide Stranger Than Heaven Hands-On Events At 12 Venues In 10 Cities
By splitting the tour into a first half that reuses the Tokyo Game Show 2026 demo and a second half with a new build from November 14, Sega turns a retail promotion into a staged rollout of the game's public material before the January 15, 2027 launch.

Sega began nationwide hands-on events for the action adventure game "STRANGER THAN HEAVEN" on October 11, running across 12 venues in 10 cities in Japan. The first day covers Yodobashi Camera Multimedia Kyoto and Yokohama, where a signing session features executive director Masayoshi Yokoyama and producer Hiroyuki Sakamoto. A new demo opens in the second half from November 14, ahead of the January 15, 2027 release.
The tour splits into two periods. The first half runs from October 11 and uses the demo version shown at Tokyo Game Show 2026. A new demo version is scheduled for the second half, which starts November 14.
Visitors at the events receive a "STRANGER THAN HEAVEN" original neck strap. Numbered tickets are distributed from each store's opening time, and the distribution location may change at the store's discretion depending on crowding.
RGG Studio, formerly Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, developed the game. It is set in the roughly 50-year span from 1915 to 1965 and follows protagonist Shin Daito.
