Marvelous announced on September 24, 2026 that Story of Seasons: Your Wonderful Life will be released in spring 2027. The price is undecided. The game will run on Meta VR Glasses, the headset Meta announced on September 23, 2026 (US time), along with Meta Quest 3 and Meta Quest 3S. Marvelous describes it as the company's first MR title. The game is based on Story of Seasons: Welcome! Wonderful Life, released in 2023, and carries over its farm work: fields, cows and sheep, shipping, shopping, fishing, excavation, and time with villagers. All operations support full hand tracking, so players can pick up buildings and trace fields without a controller. The official Story of Seasons account quoted the announcement and pointed to a store page. The rating is IARC 3+ and the rights notice reads 2026 Marvelous Inc. Screenshots shown so far come from a game still in development.
The headset the game is built around was announced by Meta on September 23, 2026, one day before Marvelous went public. Meta described Meta VR Glasses as separating the goggle portion from the computer portion, which cuts the weight of the goggles and is meant to make the device as easy to wear as a pair of glasses. The same announcement put a spring 2027 release window on the hardware, matching the window Marvelous gave for the game.
Story of Seasons: Your Wonderful Life is listed as a laid-back life game with an IARC 3+ rating and all rights held by Marvelous Inc. The game is set in Forgotten Valley. Minigames named in the announcement include milking cows and shearing sheep. The game arrives in 2026, which the publisher marks as a double anniversary year: 30 years of Story of Seasons and 20 years of Rune Factory. Marvelous pointed readers to the series portal site and the official account for further updates, and said more series information will be published as it arrives.
