A new documentary series following SUPER EIGHT member Tadayoshi Okura's work producing Johnny's juniors will premiere July 16 on Netflix and Prime Video. The series, titled "POTENTIAL Tadayoshi Okura," covers the behind-the-scenes of three junior performances Okura has prepared for 2025 and 2026, including the agency's traditional "Junior Showcase."
SUPER EIGHT member Tadayoshi Okura has been producing Kansai juniors since 2018 and expanded to overseeing juniors agency-wide in 2025. For the documentary, he has prepared three stages: the agency tradition "Junior Showcase 2025 New Star -SHINSEI-" (December 9-28, 2025), "Kansai Junior Akeome Concert 2026 A HAPPY NEW ERA PARTY" (January 3-5, 2026), and "Junior STAR to FESTIVAL 2026" (January 29-February 1, 2026) featuring 77 juniors including groups ACEes, KEY TO LIT, and B&ZAI.
Each of the first two episodes runs over an hour. Okura said during filming, "I haven't really told them... but I definitely want them to debut." The series will continue with additional episodes after the initial release.
