A Tiny Wander Demo Released on Steam
DOUKUTSU PENGUIN CLUB released a free demo for the 3D exploration puzzle adventure game A Tiny Wander on Steam on August 7, 2026. The demo covers roughly the first 10 percent of the story and includes signature puzzles plus a coffee-making experience around a campfire. The game follows Buu, a traveling pig delivery person who accepts a job to deliver to the Forest of No Return, a giant tree forest where people frequently get lost. Players explore a nighttime forest by lighting dark signs with a lantern, listening to people's stories, and carrying materials to build bridges. As the player learns about the world, the game's 'memories' system increases, revealing connections between objects and events. The game is a spin-off of the art book Wokashi na Tatemono Tankyuki by Nonohara, who is the director and main illustrator. The demo supports Japanese, English, Korean, and Simplified and Traditional Chinese, with Korean translation handled by the team's Korean programmer. Save data from the demo will not carry over to the full version. The full game is scheduled for release in the second quarter of 2027 for PC on Steam and STOVE.
