Appulse Fuses Twin-Stick Shooting With Pinball Physics at gamescom

At gamescom 2026, French studio Le Rado showed a demo of Appulse, a roguelite twin-stick shooter set inside a space station treated as a giant pinball table. Bullets, attacks, and enemy corpses bounce off bumpers and walls, and consecutive ricochets raise the score multiplier. Random upgrades offer three choices per run. The game is scheduled for release within the year with Japanese localization planned, and a demo is live on Steam.

Appulse Demo Launches on Steam, Pinball-Roguelite Shooter Hybrid

Raw Fury began distributing a new demo of Appulse on Steam on July 17. Developed by Le Rado, the game combines pinball mechanics with all-directional shooting and roguelite progression. Players launch a ship onto a spaceship pinball table, bounce off surfaces, and fire beams that alter trajectory. Enemies appear, and completing missions earns roguelite-style upgrades. Permanent upgrades can be purchased with points. The full version is due in 2026 on PC. The demo includes Japanese language support.
