ArtCraft Builds Open-Source Answer To Adobe With Crafting Apps Suite
ArtCraft is developing Crafting Apps, a set of open-source creative tools written from scratch in Rust with an operation system modeled on Adobe's suite. Seven apps are listed as of October 2026. PhotoCraft and PrintCraft are marked early alpha; VectorCraft, FilmCraft, LightCraft, EffectCraft, and DesignCraft are in development. ArtCraft says the project targets a creative environment without subscriptions or a constant cloud connection.
