Artis Impact Lands on Switch with Japanese Support

Happinet released the Nintendo Switch version of the pixel art RPG Artis Impact on September 17, 2026. Malaysian developer Mas spent four years making it alone, drawing more than 4,000 dot frames of pixel art for the ruined Earth setting. The Steam version arrived on August 7, 2025, and it won the Grand Prize at BitSummit PUNCH in May 2026 plus the Grand Prize at the RPG Maker Award 2026 run by Gotcha Gotcha Games. Players follow Akane, a rookie agent of the resistance group A-Lith, and her robot partner Bot in a world ruled by a runaway AI 3,000 years in the future. Combat uses turn-based battles in the style of 90s JRPGs. The Switch release supports 11 languages including Japanese, which the Steam version lacked, and sells for 4,950 yen packaged or 2,750 yen digitally. TOKYO GAME SHOW 2026 runs September 17 to 21 at Makuhari Messe.
