SpiralAI Announces SophieChat:AI And Ryza Skins At Tokyo Game Show 2026
SpiralAI announced on September 18 that SophieChat:AI is in development, a free-scenario AI chat-format RPG set in the world of Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream. Players travel, synthesize, and fight by talking. The reveal came during a Koei Tecmo Games stage event at Tokyo Game Show 2026, held at Makuhari Messe from September 17 to September 21. Voice actress Yuka Aisaka, who voiced Sophie, demonstrated the development demo version on the streamed stage. The game follows RyzaChat:AI: The Story of Just One Summer You Create with Ryza, which SpiralAI launched in August 2026 under license from Koei Tecmo Games. That title slipped from its planned August 18 release to August 25 to strengthen servers after pre-registrations exceeded expectations. The same stage confirmed that the Ryza app will add skins drawn from new Ryza illustrations across the series, starting with a cheongsam and a Halloween skin.
