Liquid Swords, the studio Christofer Sundberg founded in 2020 after co-founding Avalanche Studios, is reported bankrupt, with salaries unpaid for several months, according to Swedish media cited by Insider Gaming. Its debut title Samson, an open-world crime-city action game, released in April 2026 to a Metascore of 51 on PC from 33 reviews and mixed Steam reception. Around 30 employees will receive state support, and a buyer is being sought.
