Storm Rise Studio has opened Steam early access for Baron, an open-world action adventure set in Ankara's underworld. Protagonist Alparslan, who lost his family young, confronts his past and moves against a corrupt mafia organization. The game has full Turkish voice acting, locations modeled on Gölbaşı streets, and first- or third-person views. It costs 2,500 yen, with early access planned for 12 to 24 months.

Developer Turning Wheel announced on June 26 that Barony has surpassed 1 million sales, 11 years after its initial release. The first-person roguelike sold 1,400 copies on day one and slowed to under 1,000 per month, but major updates, especially the August 2023 Quality of Death update, drove steady growth. 75% of players started after that update, and 250,000 began playing in the past year.
