Steam Roguelike Barony Passes 1 Million Sales in Its 11th Year
Developer Turning Wheel announced on June 26 that Barony has surpassed 1 million sales, 11 years after its initial release. The first-person roguelike sold 1,400 copies on day one and slowed to under 1,000 per month, but major updates, especially the August 2023 Quality of Death update, drove steady growth. 75% of players started after that update, and 250,000 began playing in the past year.
