1986 Mac Classic Dark Castle and Its Sequel Hit Steam Nearly Unchanged
Ludit opened Steam store pages for Dark Castle and Beyond Dark Castle, faithful re-releases of the 1986 Macintosh action game and its 1987 sequel. Both run on Indigo Runtime, a reimplementation of the 1980s Mac environment, rather than an emulator. The studio, founded by original designer Mark Stephen Pierce, plans 2026 releases.
